I build and rebuild software companies.
Founder of Auction Mobility, acquired by Auction Technology Group in 2020. Today I run Dover Capital Partners, where I buy enterprise software companies and fix them from the engineering up.
I'm a self-taught engineer who became an operator and then an investor. I spent the early part of my career deep in systems infrastructure — the kind of low-level work that still shapes how I evaluate every company I look at. The product, the architecture, and the unit economics are one conversation, not three.
In 2013 I founded Auction Mobility, a white-label auction software platform that grew to serve more than 600 auction houses. We were acquired by Auction Technology Group — then a TA Associates portfolio company — in October 2020; ATG went public on the London Stock Exchange the following year.
I now invest as Managing Partner of Dover Capital Partners. The thesis is simple to state and hard to execute: acquire enterprise software businesses that are fundamentally sound but operationally stuck, rebuild the engineering and cost structure, and run them as an owner rather than a spectator.
